BERMUDA
Catamaran Tour and Snorkling
Our ship arrived in port in Bermuda at 10am on Wednesday, July 1. I booked an excursion on the Rising Son catamaran. Although it had been calm and sunny when the ship arrived, it started raining a bit and got fairly windy before we boarded the catamaran. The boat had a spacious shaded cockpit and expansive trampolines that passengers could relax on. The tour also included unlimited rum swizzle drinks (after the snorkeling) as well as sodas and water.
The guides very very informative and took us a scenic sail through Bermuda's pristine waters and landed us in a protective cove on the lee side of Hawkins Island. We anchored in the cove and had our choice of a variety of activities including swimming in the calm water, floating on a noodle, paddling a kayak, and snorkeling with the provided gear. I chose snorkeling to explore the underwater coral and fish.

Despite the slightly rough seas and overcast skies, it was a great tour. I saw LOTS of fish and a bunch of different corals and seagrasses.
