BERMUDA
Glass Bottom Boat Cruise

On Friday, I took a glass bottom boat cruise to see the scenery of the island from above and below the waves. The glass bottom boats has large viewing areas and a particularly shallow draft, allowing us to have reef access and up-close underwater viewing all in safe, dry, comfort.

We boarded the boat and climbed up to the spacious upper deck so that we could enjoy the passing seascapes as the captain related facts and insights about Bermuda's marine life, history, and people. You went through beautiful, clear waters surrounded by miles of the world's northernmost coral reef.

We stopped at the shipwreck of the 'HMS Vixen' which was intentionally scuttled in this location to block the waterway. It is now teeming with marine life.

Once over the reef, the crew will provided an interesting information about the civilizations of coral and fish that appear beneath you.

beachcombing is an attitude, an expressive metaphor for reality, an attraction and adventure, that ranges from the eager inquisitiveness of youth to the more philosophical approach that comes from gaining and spending, and being spent, by the fortunes of life, like the flotsam and jetsam along the shore.
